Paradox spots on leopard geckos
A Paradox spot is a random spot/patch that shouldn't happen on a Leo. For instance albinos cant produce black pigment so an albino with a black spot on it would be classed as a paradox spot, or leopard geckos that aren't meant to have spots eg (patternless) have a random spot or patch would also be classed as a paradox spot.
A paradox spot is usually a black or red/orange patch or spot on the leopard geckos body.. paradox spots can occur anywhere on the body.
I have been working on a tug snow creamsicle project for a few years now and many of my babies have paradox spots which were passed on from the father. There all in different places so it just shows they can occur anywhere on the body.
Here are some of my leopard geckos with paradox spots.
This is my male and father to some of my creamsicles. you can see his paradox spot is rather large on his neck and is orange and black
This is one of my females, as you can see hers is on her arm and is more orange.
This is another female i have, her paradox spot is on her head and is just black and not as big as the others.
